What a pleasure it has been to take photos of this little one. I've known her before she was even born and every time I've visited she just takes my heart away. Tatum along with her mommy and daddy invited me to take their family photos this month at their home. It never fails that I take more pictures of Tatum and sit around to linger so that I can play with her. Here are my favorites of Tatum and of course her mommy and daddy (AND Guiness). Nap time alarm!
I had the pleasure of photographing Emily and Jason for their engagement and now their wedding. The Log Cabin Church was a great location for the ceremony and reception, where else can you find a bell tower and a wishing well in one place? Emily was beautiful as ever and look so classic and classy. She is also a very calm bride! As for Jason, he was playing chess in his suit before the nuptials. Emily's brother officiated the intimate ceremony as family and friends looked on. Not long after the ceremony, guest were "treated" to tables of sweets courtesy of Jason's mother. What a sweet surprise! Thank you for letting me be a part of your wonderful occasion. Here are my favorites of the day.
What a wonderful time of the year! A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing my long time friend for a maternity shoot. This was something I did not want to miss since we've lived so far away since graduating from school. Lisa and I made the special trip to TN (she lives in Indiana) and met at her parent's home for a baby shower and managed to fit in a maternity shoot. I am so excited about her pregnancy and can't wait to find out her name! Here are my favorites from my weekend in TN.
This weekend I photographed Emily and Jason for their engagement photos. Emily is a painter and Jason is a graphic designer so you can imagine all the creativity and energy flowing between them. Along with Tara “the assistant”, we had a ball just watching them be themselves. What troops, we started shooting at 8:30 am and had us laughing until noon. They are so playful and funny which made the shoot a breeze! Like Tara said, you guys will be a hard act to follow. Can’t wait to shoot on your wedding day!
Several weeks ago Kieran and I did our Tuesday playdate with his friend Chloe and her mommy. We were out and about looking for ideal location spot when we decided to stop because of a duck. It was such a nice little shaded area but we didn't hesitate to take the opportunity to take picutes of the kids. Here are my favorites.
Last week I had an oppotunity to take a family portrait of The Berrys and The Searls, a small family but lots of love to share. Thank you Gail, Karen, Love, Anne, Kari-Lynne and Chip for inviting me to photography your family, it was such a pleasure and an honor.
